Welcome to the Marco Island Model Yacht Club

One of the prized awards at every Marco Island regatta is the SAIL LIKE 53 award, presented in memory of past AMYA president, and long-time Midwinter RD Dave Brawner, for outstanding sportsmanship.  This year's well-deserving winner was Glenn Chalder from Simsbury, CT.  Glenn has raced in the Marco Island Mid-Winters since 2020.  Glenn's positive attitude and helpful nature were much appreciated at the 2024 RC Laser National Championship Regatta.  He is the epitome of the Corinthian spirit of sportsmanship and gentlemanly conduct both on, and off, the race course.  Congratulations Glenn!
